Driving the next generation (never gonna happen just like RRECS) postal ride?I thought I saw Santa Claus.
RRECS is probably gonna happen in 2022. (Next contract) The PO showed their hand. Unless no count in contract then all bets are off.Driving the next generation (never gonna happen just like RRECS) postal ride?

Makes me wonder if they planned to go through the motions all along. Did it really take a $100 million + "scientific study" for the USPS to realize that an evaluation in paying carriers fairly for door drops would cost a bundle?Went to union meeting, my office is a study office. Was told a few months ago that we were going to be getting the new scanners. Now at the meeting, we were told the P.O does not want to give us the scanners because RRECS will "be too costly" and they are going to pull the plug on it. No RRECS.
Disgusting. Disdain. Delusional. I'd say that's a D-, Chuck. Just a coincidence get ready for a real count. Everyone knew it was obsolete. How much fraud waste and abuse can actually go on? I'll have to ask my consultant while we have 3 martinis at our working lunch. I guess it's a F-. Failure minus one and countdown. Next stop is Union desolves to save Union officials from lawsuits. Privatization last stop at dead end.Makes me wonder if they planned to go through the motions all along. There's no coincidence though, with anywhere between 1-4 yrs left, that I do in fact sometimes tell co-workers to just call me Chuck when the subject of RECCS comes up.Disgusting. Disdain. With EOBR there's no need for even a time clock except to record when you start work and are ready to go home. Each office will have a group of supervisors monitoring the stats for each carrier real time, sending RIMS messages to hurry up, don't do this or that, generate instant discipline documents directly from the data. Creates a LOT MORE work for less mail and packages. The Post Office way. That brought in the nanny tracker scanner..... need I say more???? ?
....and to introduce an electronic on-board recorder (EOBR) device on each delivery vehicle that incorporates a global positioning system (GPS), clock timing and communications components to accurately capture vehicle and carrier performance such as route of travel, speed of travel, acceleration/ deceleration, location of stops, and length of stops....
RRECS gave USPS many new toys to play with in their never ending attempts to justify the bloated mngt structures.... worth the $$$ expenditures???? Probably not.... ?With EOBR there's no need for even a time clock except to record when you start work and are ready to go home.
