So a route at my office recently lost its regular. It’s unknown if this person will ever even come back. In the mean time RCA’s and whoever else is available will have to do it. Mind you we barely have enough RCA’s as it is.
So what happens to a routes evaluation under RRECS if there’s no regular who has any “skin in the game”? An RCA who won’t make regular for years could mess up the routes eval without worry. Or a lazy supervisor or an annoyed PM who just doesn’t feel like doing the scans. Or if they use a city carrier (which apparently is allowed) however the city carriers aren’t trained on RRECS (not that we are).
And say I decide months down the line that I want to bid on that route. Will I have to wait 6months - year to get paid correctly?
