What’s the proper way in measuring a dismount?

From the balance beam? Did they stick the landing with the perfect arms held up & high.

Oh, you’re meaning that dismount. Make sure the rolling wheel is zeroed and start from the driver side door to rear of LLV if gov then to the location of box and back or double one way. Also measure all the distance you normally walk to service cbu’s at same dismount.

So they are telling us that we don’t get footage for the inside. Have to go inside to give the mail to a human

The actual drop point for mail delivery should have already mapped in DPM. Also, had the route been ridden / inspected ( which they can do during a count ) , this would not be an issue now.

We don't want dismounts like that because highest you can get is 10....... Poor CBUs route each dismount only 10....

They have the address but not the actual place inside the location.

Well, that's not correct. The front counter / desk or wherever you deliver to in that business would be the delivery point. No different than a front door at a home for the dismount delivery point for the parcels and accountable mail.

I will check that info on tewmorrow.They are planning on coming out tewmorrow to remeasure all my dismounts.

if they are seperated by more than that i scan an additional dismount
have done that for all of mine that are separated by an alleyway for years

As long as the inside business delivery isn't a "courtesy" delivery where they have a box outside but the carrier comes in to deliver the mail.

An exception would be for customer pickup.
