For what its worth

The only reason to count an auxiliary route under current contract is if it is expected to be beyond 42 hours or to be consolidated. Otherwise, the old provision for counting auxillary routes every Sept no longer applies.
No idea why they counted it. It was evaluated at 12 hrs and was only five stops. ??‍♀️

I guess the route that was counted in my office last year was for fun?
For a Sept. count Mgmt. may count any Aux. routes, must count any vacant routes, must count any routes that fall under the special count provisions, (that applies when the route changes L route profile) and if DPS was implemented and the routes have not been counted under DPS standards. If Mgmt. want to count any routes that do NOT fall under any of those specific situations then Mgmt. must count every route, nationwide. That's why it's called an all or nothing count.
