Just wondering.. No contract, no COLA. no contractual pay raises for a year. Based on that total compensation award of 2015 and inflation calculator of March 2019.

The $183950 in 2015 needs $200081.55 for same purchase power. A $7358 loss for the year of no contract if their salary awards are tied to our current contract rules. If so a $ 613 monthly loss of potential pocket change. Around 8% for the year? or 2 % loss of income for all years involved? When were we awarded a 2% yearly increase in pay?

Effective January 1, 2001, the annual salary of the President of the United States was increased to $400,000 per year, including a $50,000 expense allowance, a $100,000 nontaxable travel account, and a $19,000 entertainment account.

Why should a carrier who is involved in the DUKE STREET game earn way more than the route they gave up because they don't want to slug mail? They should live the life of the route eval they gave up and survive like the rest of us driving in the ditches.
