I’ve heard nothing at all, like everything else. It’s changed the they way I do things. At this point IDC, my high option is being ripped anyway costing me 1000’s$ with nothing but a “it is what it is.”Pure criminal.Any word on fixing this? Anything at all????
Everyone should file a grievance on that issue, may not help but can't hurt! If nothing is done then they get away with it for certain thou... supposedly everyone should of been able to have it changed the very next pay period after it was implemented.....that is "high to low options"....I’ve heard nothing at all, like everything else. It should have been disputed. A coworker has filed dispute as she opted for high option in proper time . last week the decision came in her favor that she should be given the high option as soon as possible. But in real term nothing actually changed as they are saying it cannot be changed officially yet because of technical glitch . But I have to say one thing though , in our office , anticipating that she will win the dispute they are scheduling her every other Saturday as overtime till it becomes officially her working day . So she is getting paid her usual 42k pay plus one day of docket 5 every paycheck. Strictly speaking it is not actually the same thing as her 46j would be when you factor in tsp , retirement , high 3 ( she is planning to retire in 2 years) . But it is the closest thing she could have gotten right nowAny word on fixing this? Anything at all????
Thankfully for her, they cannot backdate this so far as I know. I’ve been told that no matter the outcome of the disputes, lump sums would be needed if it’s a monetary settlement due to no way to backdate.A coworker has filed dispute as she opted for high option in proper time . last week the decision came in her favor that she should be given the high option as soon as possible. Yes , backdating would have been bad for her to satisfy tsp and retirement requirementsThankfully for her, they cannot backdate this so far as I know. I’ve been told that no matter the outcome of the disputes, lump sums would be needed if it’s a monetary settlement due to no way to backdate.
I have to find out about whatever happened with the dispute put forward by another girl though . Similar 42k/46j situation. But only difference is she did not sign the option form before the MMS ended . She started asking for it after the first 4241 came outThankfully for her, they cannot backdate this so far as I know. Likely will be denied if she refused to certify the Survey or if she signed off on the Mail Survey & not the High Option. Many districts are nowhere near done with Dispute meetings. Mgmt is to be notified of the District’s decision & mgmt is required to notify the carrier.I have to find out about whatever happened with the dispute put forward by another girl though . It may be the closest thing as far as gross paycheck dollars but she's getting screwed on her high three and her TSP contributions. High three is base salary and will not include those O/T days she's getting paid. So if she's schedule 1 her base pay for high three at 46J would be 9-10 thousand higher than at 42K. TSP is also based on base salary so no matching money for the O/T pay there either. So she is getting paid her usual 42k pay plus one day of docket 5 every paycheck. HR is able to fix it now, as of July 7Any word on fixing this? Anything at all????
Just found out today about fixing it. Trouble is my Postmaster didn't know anything about it until today, two days before PP ends. Oh well. At least it's in the works.HR is able to fix it now, as of July 7
Yes they did . Couple of days ago they received. I happened to have a conversation with one of them yesterdayIf you don't mind me asking, when your High/Low option got fixed, did you all get a new Form 50 or any documentation stating it went back to high option?
I didn't get a form 50. Now you have me doubting it.Yes they did . Couple of days ago they received. I happened to have a conversation with one of them yesterday
Okay . There is another way to check it . If you go to liteblue payroll section, see what is happening in the check you are gonna receive today .The true work hours ( not actual hours will be shown there unless you have taken some leave in that period ) . Say you were 42k with low option but 46j with high option. For “ work hours” it will be shown 42hrs in one week and 50 hrs in another week . Sometime form 50 takes one or two days extra to arrive . Of course, your district can implement a pay period or two late . Hope you can figure outI didn't get a form 50. Now you have me doubting it.
Also see the deduction on TSP if you contribute it and compare it to when you were getting paid low option . If the amount has increased, then you got paid high option on this paycheckI didn't get a form 50. Now you have me doubting it.
