Mini Survey - Mgmt deleting Random Flats when entered as Unscan Parcels

Yes . Newer newer issue where there should be no issue . If unscanable parcel scan was allowed to stand and a flat count was deleted I myself will be happy and count my blessing .
Yes I'm totally fine with losing a few flats and getting an unscan parcel for those instead. As long as it's done correctly and not just them subtracting total unscans from random flats.

They are doing it properly . They are counting flats which is not counted anywhere else

It is mms time . They are granted the counting permission for loose letters and flats . They are not deleting anything from RRECS entry
Well idc where they manipulate the numbers we don't change one space to fill in another. If I have 5 flats it stays 5 flats! Unscannable parcels go in to the scanner if I have 9 stays 9. Taking flats away in a survey is a huge bad for us. These numbers dictate what % is going to be used to calculate our 6 months evaluation the lower the % the lower the evaluation. This is the most obverse thing I've ever heard being done. We don't trade or bargain it's simply is what it is! If they feel your doing wrong then where is your pdi? They are just trying to lower your % is all this is another way they can find an avenue. This isn't happening in our office yet thank goodness but I would dig my heels in on this one! I would say good luck to you but sometimes you make your own luck.

It’s not space they are filling in . They are giving credit for what you got . Either it is parcels or it is flat . Not both . They are doing it right technically. They are just being mean about it . Not letting anyone get away with tiny little thing

I don't mind giving up a few flats (I barely get any random flats anyway) and I understand the logic, but where was it written that mgmt was to do this? No other office in my area is taking away flat counts if they are entered as unscan parcels.

It is written and obvious that every flat will be counted . No letter piece or no parcel will be counted as flat . Well other office didn’t want to be mean to be technically right . And this office didn’t think they are being mean as to them they are doing what is technically right . As for us , if we make issue out of this all offices will end up getting instruction to do it . Choice is ours right now . Later on we will have no choice

I think their original goal was to curtail unscan parcels, but we refused. So they've settled with subtracting them as flats. Which, of course, is better for us in the long run. Also, you're 100% right. This will eventually be rolled out everywhere.

That's because your mgmt are PATHETIC STEALING BACKSTABBING KISSUP MORONS that are trying to get noticed by the higher ups, so they can ascend the ladder to being our INSECT OVERLORDS, as Oiveh, (affectionately known as Mom!!❤❤❤)puts it...LOL!!!😬🤣😂😎🤠
puts it...

If you feel slighted because your manager changed the flats that you changed into parcels, argue about it everyday during EOS time for as long as your supervisor will argue. You will gain more time towards your evaluation than 100’s of flats.
This is the answer. I spent about 40 minutes EOS Friday and probably 45 minutes EOS yesterday. I actually kind of enjoy debating, so I could stretch this longer if need be. 🤣

How is it that your manager knows how many unscanned parcels you scan everyday? Most don’t even know how to look that up. If you are being required to show your manager which pieces you will scan as an “Un-scanned” parcel, then you need 8127 pay or time added to your check or evaluation. That would come under a “New duty”. There is nothing mentioning that duty nor the time allocated for it.

Ours know how to look up RRECS scans. They've allowed me to add a flatsWSS a few times when a sub didn't enter it the day before, etc. Hopefully they don't abuse that when edits go live. I've already told them if I have to argue unscans it'll be miscellaneous time. Yesterday, we just told them how many to subtract from random flats and no questions were asked.
Btw, they can also see other office's numbers in our area. They asked why our numbers were twice as much as other offices for unscans. I said "they're either being bullied by mgmt or they know nothing about RRECS". 🤷🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

In our office we had a standup about unscanned parcels, and the supervisor explained that the district was saying we had too high a number. After explaining what an unscanned parcel was our numbers went up 20 more per day, because an RCA didn’t realize that those plastic recordings for the blind were all unscanned parcels. He delivered to a library and wasn’t scanning them correctly. After the district made a complaint about our office number being too high, it went up higher.

Yep same thing happened to me this week! When I looked up the actual parcel definition for how clerks charge postage, I saw that bit about uniform thickness. Didn't know that before! Thanks mgmt for questioning me! 😂

I have a Question, Where are the unscanable parcels showing up on 4241M??
I keep up with my total parcels to the door and doesn't seem to be included there, but my parcels to the box are more than I have recorded. I think they are putting mine in (to Box) category. Any insite??
