The plants have the ability to weigh and scan all parcels being processed on newer equipment. If it is an electronic form of postage, they simply surcharge the account for any shortage. IF the plant has personnel trained on the kick out bins for conveyor system.
I didn't catch all the details, but they were asking for spot checks of pickups by clerk sampling them and checking on RSS.... but, I guess the catch is, most offices don't have the time or personnel to do it....

Christmas OT for Regs is paid on your Relief Day, if you go over your WEEKLY evaluation, if you work more than 56 hours, or if you woright over 12 hours in a day.
Guarantee period starto Mid-October every year So Oct. 12 this year.
So just to be clear, during Dec 5-25 regulars only get OT after 12 hrs a day or 56 in a week just like the normal time of the year?

No. OT for over 12 hours And/Or hours worked over your weekly evaluation. Although the 56 would still apply, you’d hit your eval first.
Nothing changes for RCAs except those on Aux routes. Aux routes are paid ACTUAL HOURS for those 3 weeks regardless of the eval.

I would really hope across the country, stewards are reminding each other of the rules - especially for the aux routes. Let's share some pre holiday educational materials in hopes to avoid some poor unfortunate souls, painful paycheck.

I'm AUX carrier. What if I go over 40 hours in actual hours? Am I still paid actual hours after 40 hours?

As a substitute carrier, every time you go over 40 hours you get paid actual time. Straight time for 40, 1.5x for hours over 40.

In the over 40 hours case it doesn’t matter what time of year it is.
Thank you.

My route evaluation is 39.5, but now I'm having a hard time to make it under evaluation due to this covid little Christmas. I'm pretty sure I will be over 40 hours on this Christmas time.

Simple, Pay since beginning of Guarantee Period / total hours worked. Then it's 150% of that total.
For example :
$15,000 / 500 hours = $30 per hour Then all Christmas OT hours are paid at $45 per hour.

I usually take 20 to 25 days of leave in Nov. So I have a OT rate around $55 per hour
