UPDATE ON THE RURAL ROUTE EVALUATED COMPENSATION SYSTEM (RRECS) The Postal Service and the National Rural Letter Carriers’ Association (NRLCA) have decided to delay the implementation of the new rural route evaluations (RRECS) from April 8 to April 22, 2023.

During the distribution of Forms 4241-A and 4241-M, it was discovered that some of the data fields did not display correctly. Additionally, the Volume Factor field displayed zero and rural carriers who elected High Option were not provided that election.

The route evaluations (standard hours and minutes), as shown on the recently printed 4241-As, are correct based on the data input.

Adjustments will be made to correct the data fields and it will be necessary to reprint both Forms 4241-A and 4241-M. You will receive further notification when these forms will be available for printing.

I just posted the same thing...my first question is? Is it legitimate?? And secondly is it going to help us?? I understand we wont know the answer to that until we get new paperwork more than likely... whats everybody's thought on this?? Thank you kingu, appreciate you lots!!

Just talked to union steward. Issues with no stand up safety talks, 4241’s having 0 for volume, and high option selections cannot be accepted because of “system failure” Sounds like the whole thing is a failure

YES! But I'll take it. This will get me 14 more days towards my High 3 before my RRECS Evaluation force me to retreat my earnings back to what I was earning 5 years ago.

From that above release, you should expect zero change in the total evaluation as displayed on April 1st. It is a correction of the displayed data on the 4241A and M. Make sure you request the M so you have the detailed information.

I just want to say I have never been prouder of our craft than I have been these last few weeks, carriers finally coming together. I doubt this is finished, but they probably seen the amount exiting and grievances, newspaper, maybe Congress but no matter they got the gift. When I started, in the late 80's, I so loved this job, everyone walking in cheery, greeted with a good morning, about twice a week food of some sort would be brought in to share, usually a new recipe someone wanted to guinea pig us on(lol) cookouts, baseball games, you knew everyone's family. Times sure have changed, shoot pups at the kennel are treated better than we at the PO, I kept telling myself things just can't get any worse and they do. When folks walk in not one person says good morning anymore, nobody speaks to anyone, no pictures of family on cases, this has been going on for years, no wonder younger folks don't want to work now a days, but atlas I decided last week it was time to go, although I will never miss messing with PM's like the last two days calling me asking where I am and he is marking me AWOL I asked him when was the last time he checked his emails, regardless he must finally had gotten it for I have no phone call today. God Bless you all and hope for better times.

My guess just another version of mind games. Piss some more people off so they get fed up and quit and saves them some more money. You would think common sense they would know the system had errors before they released everyone the info in my opinion. Who knows it is so hard to follow this soap opera anymore. Lol

Can't be, I'm missing a full year of bundled and tub flats. I counted them during the survey, had 2,287 for 2 weeks. What would that add over a 52 week period?
