I agree 110%!More boxes will get removed with a lower volume factor.
What is better or worse will depend on how it all shakes out once the routes get the new rrrecs eval after the year freeze.
I believe there are too many factors to predict that future outcome properly at this time.
But some routes have at least 3 different footprints when you discuss the topic of Volume, mine has a definite two. I have the old established part of my route, you know older homes & people, Then I have neighborhoods with Mcmansions and money coming out of their azz.
The later tend to be younger and aggressive online orderers. that makes them have more worth or value towards RRECS.
A few of other footprints would be those that live in Apartments, Mobile Homes, Businesses or Seasonal Homes.
Bottom line is that the removal of boxes is effected with our new evaluation system (RRECS) in direct relationship to Packages Volumes (deliveries as well as Pickups). Mail means very little anymore. So what I'm saying is that the removal of 30 addresses in my established neighborhood would barely move the needle on my evaluation, where taking 30 from my Mcmansions would devastate my evaluation.
