carrier gets hurt, carrier retires. Whats the usual timeline for job posting after retirement?

When hurt on the job a carrier can hold into their routes for 2 years I believe.

Within 30 days of the route being VACATED. This means from the time that HR has removed the Carrier from “the rolls”. This process alone can take more than 30 days.

If something is egregiously late posting, you could ask for it to be backdated to when it should have been effective. Especially as a new regular.
