X-day vs AL day

Does one have presednece over the other?
Say I have a xday for Wed then someone puts in a AL day for same day and no one else to cover.
Do I still get it off?

Did you fill out a leave slip asking for an X day and get a signed approval from your manager? If not the annual leave would be granted to your co-worker if they filled out a leave slip and got an approval for their day.

X-days are scheduled by mgmt so AL days do take precedence IF the X-day Leave Request is NOT yet approved.
ANY Leave already approved must be granted except in Emergencies. Scheduling is not an Emergency.

If you have a signed 3971 saying your day off is approved... then by golly, it should be approved...
