#1 They settled on this. It wasn't a decision, so what is to happen next when someone else says I'm not working Sundays because of my religious beliefs.

Just BIG CAN OF WORMS.

#2 What about someone else who is in a different religion when they are forced to work day of their worship or a holiday in their religion? Judaism, Hinduism, Islam, Buddhism, and so on.

They should have worked with you. I'm sure it's mgmt discretion. Some bosses want the hours on Sunday and some just wanna get out of there. But I think this case sets a precedent, for sure.

He wasn't fired. He resigned in 2019. He started getting disciplined for not working Sundays.

Where is the real change for ALL Postal Employees? I'm glad this guy won but they need to codify religious rights in law or union contracts to protect people's freedoms. You shouldn't have to sacrifice your religious beliefs for a government job.
