I heard through my supervisor, who heard from poom, who heard from pmg, the usps is dumping amazon at end of contract. I guess too many late trucks, and problems. He doesnt want them anymore. Contradicts this article and others I read...
 
95 cents seems like a big jump for 1st class stamps... Even banks and other businesses are pressuring customers to move away from paper mail nowadays... I think USPS will cause 1st class mail to decline to nothing before long.... when I eBay anything nowadays, UPS and FedEx prices seem about the same as USPS .. maybe they'll cancel or privatize USPS when it goes bankrupt next year... 🤔 🤷‍♂️👉:oops:
 
They don't cite any actual sources and make a vague reference to WSJ. Seems like more of Amazon's fake new campaign to pressure the USPS into another contract that will save AMZ billions at our expense. We already lose money on every part of the operation delivering Amazon. Equality is hallmark of American culture therefore all businesses should pay the same shipping rates as consumers. No more freebies for billionaires!

I can .... we will do it cheaper, then watch the volume come through. It will look like when covid hit us.
Under RRECS IT WILL TAKE A 6-12 MONTHS TO PAY US.
Hey Union make sure we get an MOU on a spike or double in parcel volume. (In the new contract)
We delivered double volume and didn't get paid

This is being reported in concert the same day the PMG testifies before congress and the day Amazon is purported to have overtaken the USPS in package volume.

The privatization winds are blowing hard aren't they.

You won't be paid. You be cut hours if your route goes up, missing out on the increase in duties. Because, our leaders lack foresight.

Revenue doesn’t mean crap if expenses exceed the revenue generated. 🤦‍♂️
