Just freeze hiring anymore management and corporate/HR positions. Then start cutting them and use that money to start improving conditions, equipment and wages for existing carriers. It’s really not that difficult, which proves this whole thing is just for show and brownie points.

Haven't seen one in my area for a while. Been over 55 weeks now for now. Job posted 27 times with only 3 people even applying and 1 making a shadow day before quitting.

Have you contacted Union? A few of us regs did and put in 120 day letters. RCA position now stays up for my office in my district all the time. We get a new one every few weeks, usually about the time one of the other rcas quit. Can’t wait for 120 letters to expire, have 2 RCAs in other offices I will poach . Looking at 2 Ptf positions to be created due to 120 day letters. We have 4 regs each put in one.

I'm done contacting union after last round of BS about case labels. Telling me that PMCASING is how you redo all of your labels and not end of day like the sheet tells you.

You can fix this. File a grievance on scheduling. When those that are being bypassed due to no vehicle are paid for not working - they will quit or buy a vehicle. Either works for you. If they quit - seniority and hours are gained. If they get a vehicle, you get better schedule for days off. If mgmt offers a vehicle to some but, not all. Disparate treatment grievance. That's usually when the DR can speak to district about releasing additional vehicles to your office.

I'm a MAGA guy, but all these Republicans GRILLED DeJoy and chastised him for hiring. Yet turn around and are like, yeah no more hiring EXCEPT USPS.

Sadly there isn't any of that. I'm just only route in an office. No one is wanting to work or buy a vehicle is what I am saying. Why work this rural route when you can to town 20 miles away that has all GOV.

Just an idea it has happened in other offices. Grieve management not finding a leave replacement within 50 miles. What was settled in another office who had spare gov vehicles sub used spare and ran route in another office. up to you if you want to pursue any and every avenue to get relief days.

We are currently down to 3 subs had 5 not to long ago. My grievance to get relief days and vacations approved is still being held. Subs are working 6 days a week as they should before K and J route regs do. Worse case I grieve management not finding a sub within 50 miles. They do exist and several would love to work in our office. Mainly to see if they like the office to transfer in or bid on district wide postings of PTF.
