I know and what I am trying to understand with this whole process is this......

Better technology
Less mail and flats
Packages up

Yet somehow we have to "delay picking up the mail."

Trying to figure that out in my head. Maybe I am thinking too much.

Our office did this.

We no longer have a PM pickup and the mail is dropped off and picked up even before the window opens.

That means that a person could wait outside the office for the window to open and mail a parcel first thing and that package still won't go out that day. It will literally sit at the office for nearly 24 hours.

However, we do have a sign out front letting customers know that these new hours will NOT delay their parcels or mail.

They opted to not include our office this time around. Something about over 22k parcels picked up weekly by carriers city and rural….

Not so quietly in our office....its been sitting overnight for over a year....we've had no night truck for quite a while....
