My dude, if you didn't plan to bring enough water or you somehow spill all of it, you need to plan better. Get a bigger jug, bring some bottles, etc. That said, if you're then in need and able to go back to the office for this provided water why wouldn't you equally be able to keep your own extra water there, or just stop at a store? I know that's not applicable everywhere, but most routes are not so rural that there isn't a store near the office and the ones that are require an extra bit of self reliance and personal accountability for your own needs.

Also I don't know about your office but ours has bathrooms with faucets.

I bring my own. First place I've worked at that doesn't provide water though; also the first place where I primarily work out doors.

The bathrooms sink point was a bit facetious, I'll admit. Throwback to my previous life landscaping and drinking from hoses on hot days.

I was going to say just use the kitchen/utility sink but I figured most probably don't have one like our office does.

I still can't wrap my head around adults expecting their employer to be their lunch ladies. Pack your own fudgin lunch, be a big boy and bring some extra wa wa.

If we choose to act on this issue, how fast and effectively may we do it?

The reason I ask is because I believe this has become a perfect test example.

We have a problem presented that is not in a final form to be dealt with but is a real problem.

We have a troll which will always be present in any issue worth pursuing. What is more important, energy spent fighting the troll can’t be used toward making your working conditions better.

I believe we choose representatives to the National Convention shortly after the election for national officers to the NRLCA. This is a situation in which the ability to mobilize may make a great difference.

If we wanted recruit 5,000 people to help deal with the water issue how would we find them?

Yeah....I hear ya buddy. I ALWAYS have my own water, drinks, air compressor, electric impact with me....tire plugs, 70 foot logging chain. I even carry a chainsaw, when I'm not using it in the yard for stuff. My motto....always be prepared. I've been thinking about getting one of those emp fuses in case china ever drops a dirty bomb on us....that way, I wont be stranded with a dead battery, and no way home, but to walk...

Mine's mounted high and top center of dashboard so I have less area to cover when looking out the windshield for obstacles.

Right on good buddy.....I only work 5 miles from home, so I could walk it if I had too. Plus, I got lots of Amish friends on my rt. any one of them would give me a ride home if things ever went way south....good people those Amish folks. They dont come any nicer....

I've given many of them a ride to town, and I dont doubt they'd return the favor.
