On Monday a few of our routes went over 12 hours and PM was not happy. Now next Monday he’s sending assistance. What happens after we’re out there 12 hours?

PM's should be doing Sunday parcel runs this time of year!

Either that, or keep their mouths shut come monday.

I always love the commercials too. Its always a lady with 1-2 trays of mail a city carrier (smiling) and 5-7 parcels.

Can you imagine if it was a realistic carrier with three trays upfront covered with parcels, can't see out the side, parcels at the feet (rows one and two.) Then 5-6 more trays in the back caked with amazon so full you can't open the back.

Then the best part is when you're starting your route at 1 or later you always get the old lady that says, "looks like you're running a little behind today."

You say....I feel unsafe delivering in the dark. Fill out a 1767 form. Write on it how unsafe it is on your rt. Turn it in. Stand up for yourself, OR get what you deserve, which will be....GETTING TREATED LIKE CRAP BY YOUR PO MGMT.

WTF, do these idiots expect, Xmas is in a few weeks. PM is not happy because his/her boss is going to be pi&$ed ! Most Reg carriers do not want to be out 12 plus hours.

that's what i tell my idjet - "yah, i really, really, REALLY want to get home at 10 pm" usually that shuts her piehole.

One of my last verbal battles with my M. I. C., he was trying to tell me I HAD to take ALL of my DPS with me during the OT pd (gets dark early). I flat out REFUSED (I normally did), I had no intention of looking through DPS at the end of the route, when I knew it was going to be dark. I wanted to tell him GFY !

You have to watch out for yourself MOST mgt will not.
