you guys are so optimistic, it’s cute.

My expectation is they will mou forcing regulars in, because they can.
There’s already an mou stating regulars are ‘volunteer only’ on sundays.
I think we hit rock bottom last Xmas and things are turning around big time in our favor. First rrecs, now the Supreme Court decision, newly announced management layoffs etc.
a lot of great things are happening😀

I think we’ll be seeing an even bigger push to hire RCA’s and ARCs now by Usps.
Union should be fighting for premium pay on Sunday’s for everyone not just regulars in the next contract.
This is great victory. And as much as I hate to agree with rollinrural, there really should be a pay bump on Sundays. All the places I've applied to lately are automatically time and a half if you work your day off and double time on holidays.

For the record I believe this is what will eventually happen. I've seen reports on fb of regulars being mandated to work other routes and Sundays despite it being a grievous breach of contract. Management is not scared of the union.

It will be interesting to see if Islam (Fridays) and Judaism (Saturdays) are granted the same religious accommodation.
Yes. If not then a valid lawsuit or compliant can be filed. Sundays is talked about because the Plaintiff is Christian and the majority of religious observant people in the USA identify as Christian. I would argue that the USPS would be more accommodating on the Fridays because they have more options to cover vs having to schedule all leave replacements on Sunday.

The reality is if pkgs don't get delivered on sunday, we just end up delivering them through the week. There isn't a terrible consequence, they eventually get delivered. I see them as late as Wednesdays with the Sunday sequence codes written on them.
More packages that will count toward the evaluation, or just have RCA's run the biggest ones during the week (which is what our office is doing Wednesday). I don't see much of a downside.

I'm for it. This guy stood up for what he believed in, against the post office. A bunch of us, instead of running our mouths, and doing nothing realistically, and Im talking to myself here as well, at least in the past, Im standing up for myself now though!! WE NEED TO TAKE A NICE LONG LOOK AT WHAT THIS GUY JUST DID, AND START TAKING NOTES, AND TAKING SOME ACTION!!! How many of us have passed up something that we thought couldve been a lawsuit worthy situation against the post office???? And we said to ourselves....aawww...no one ever wins against the government...aaww
I'll just forget about it.. HOW MANY OF YOU HAVE BEEN SCREWED OVER BY THESE MORONIC PEOPLE THAT SUPPOSEDLY "MANAGE" THIS COMPANY??? THIS GUY JUST WON!!!! AGAINST ONE OF THE BIGGEST ABUSERS OF HARDWORKING AND HONEST AMERICANS ACROSS THE COUNTRY!!!!!!! All of us need to pay attention to what one guy with a backbone just did...He took a stand, and as far as Im concerned, he's got my respect, and I hope he gets every bit of backpay they owe him, because he deserves it..
