Oh yeah they are thankful for it. It's not always regs, but also other subs running routes. That’s the way it used to be here. I hope your regs thank you for it many of ours did and miss it greatly.

No you didn’t lol. PMs don’t get to opt out lol. If District tells them they have to do it, they do it. More then likely your office didn’t have enough routes to staffing an office on Sunday. So what about the offices that are not participating in Amazon Sunday? Where is their 8127 time? Additional parcels get dumped on them on Monday because management doesn't want to participate in Amazon Sunday. We had a PM that for years refused to participate.
I go back and forth with this-with the Amazon we have been getting-4 years plus-and the volume we have been getting from amazon (to door packages) I somewhat believe our routes in my office would all gain in evaluation, however with all the losses it would bring like mail volume, travel, CBU's and informed delivery, subs not doing the scans and soooooo many other flaws I honestly do not know what will happen when and if implemented. I definitely believe SOMETHING needs to be done for ALL the amazon offices that have not been counted in years!Your credit is bad. RRECs is not gonna happen.

That’s the was it should be. Pay the sub, problem solved. My office doesn't work Sundays. I'm a sub so I normally go in on Monday mornings and take whatever doesnt fit in carriers POVs. It all goes on a green card.
I was simply just stating op talking about sunday being pushed to Monday. Yeah we get parcel credit for Sunday amazon that we aren’t supposed to handle. Rrecs is right around the corner huh? The union has been kicking the can on that since 2015. It’s a joke and a slap in the face to the hardworking carriers. Yeah we get Sunday stuff throughout the week. But if it in fact comes in on Sunday and is pushed to Monday that’s a load of bs and a way we are working for free. Management and the union know this. Not all packages that have “Sunday” printed on them actually come in on Sunday for delivery. Some are delivered early on Saturday while others run late & aren’t actually available for delivery until Monday. The Sunday label is an ETA just like some of our own packages have.
If the package was sorted for Sunday delivery then that is compensable but if it’s not available then we aren’t. If we deliver it, we get route credit, if Sunday/Holiday deliver then we aren’t.
FYI… it is not unusual for mgmt to push Priority out on a Holiday delivery day. I never see anyone complain about mgmt stealing our credit.

2 minutes per package is generous by way of the old Mail Count system. We received less than 1 minute per at last count.
If using RRECS credits, it depends on where the pkgs were delivered. If Mailbox or parcel locker then 2 minutes per is still a good amount of time. If it went to the house then you might get away with adding 2 more minutes for each that is applicable.
Force the issue it needs to be rescanned for delivery that day. Otherwise routes will not get credit under rrecs. We always have some for every route on Sundays or holidays that can’t be delivered. They get thrown in a hamper to be rescanned the Next day. contact local rep and apprise them of the situation file if need be.I know this is an old thread, and this info is good to know. I was concerned that taking Sunday/Holiday Amazons out on Monday would not give any delivery RRECS credit on Monday since it was scanned for a separate Sunday/Holiday route not ours. And the clock stopped when Sunday carrier scanned it as 'attempted' or 'No access'. I've seen other posters say they have asked clerks to rescan parcels.
Is it wrong to request management to have clerks scan these parcels on Monday morning, so we are assured RRECS credit? plus the added benefit of parcels showing up on lookahead feature ( which is helpful on Mon/Tues holiday when parcel load is over 300) and also helpful for anyone that uses "Load vehicle" (parcels can't be entered if not scanned for 'Delivery that day') Management did allow clerks to rescan them last few months, but yesterday new mgmnt has said no.
I’ve never heard that. We don’t have Sunday delivery, so our Mondays are alwaysIs there extra compensation for carriers to deliver Sunday Amazon that was not delivered Sunday but held over for Monday delivery? I was told by our union rep that we should be paid 2 min per package for Amazon that was not delivered on Sunday. Is there somewhere I can find this in writing?
Also, with Sunday Amazon delivery, should ALL packages be delivered on Sunday, including chunks and spurs? I just found out that in past, years the clerks have only had carriers take the large packages and left the small ones that fit in the mailbox for Monday delivery. What is the rule and proper procedure in this?
Yeah, thanx. One Monday i did have over 15-20 parcels left from Sunday because of a broken LLv. But previous PM ok'd rescanning them . So it was just yesterday that new PM , maybe w/o giving it any real thought, decided not to scan them. Most of the time it is just a handful, BUT i do want to make sure they rescan it for my route.Force the issue it needs to be rescanned for delivery that day. Not true. The Route scan on a weekday gives credit to the route the delivery location is mapped to. An AAU is NOT even required for parcel credit.Force the issue it needs to be rescanned for delivery that day. Otherwise routes will not get credit under rrecs. So when rca’s are providing parcel assistance during peak season are we getting credit for those parcels? Example: rca is delivering all day from an enterprise rental van.Not true. If you have to move a pkg out of a locker from the day before to the house & scan at the house, you will get Door credit. No AAU is required. This also goes for Certifieds in the DPS… no AAU is required for credit.
Yes, those parcels go to our route. Last year PO had mgmt routing parcel-runs in the AM & District wasn’t crediting the routes. The PO was forced to go back & flip the ”credit the route” switch so we’d get proper credit. So when rca’s are providing parcel assistance during peak season are we getting credit for those parcels? We scan all certs in dps as out for delivery to ensure credit...Not true. The Route scan on a weekday gives credit to the route the delivery location is mapped to. An AAU is NOT even required for parcel credit.

We do the same & I've just started doing packages coming off Hold and Business Closed packages to be delivered. We scan all certs in dps as out for delivery to ensure credit...
It's the same as an AAU scan

I may or may not do this they accidentally fall on the ground by mailbox. They do postage due to the customer here if I bring it back. Not the right way or how it should be done but 5+ years of fighting this I’m over it.pull em out, pm will charge fed x or make em come get em
