On February 17, 2026, the National Rural Letter Carriers’ Association (NRLCA) filed three separate National Step 4 grievances against the United States Postal Service.

That would be great if they weren't simply supporting each other behind the scenes. My own rep after 7 months has now tried to settle the grievances by completely lying about the entire situation. Authorizing grievances without my knowledge and stating I agreed to the settlement that I have zero knowledge of.

All the NRLCA executives I've sent letters to have completely ignored the issue. They keep referring me back to our district rep that does nothing but LIE or FALSIFY or completely ignore my other grievances! I had to send certified letters, but she's so cheap, she did not. They follow zero legal rules, lie, ignore, delay, cheat and steal. They are corrupt to the core!

Oh and after 7 months my rep has said this is only a step 2 grievance, route will be split after mail count (it's over so another delay tactic), nothing about promised backpay (she is claiming the route became overburdened after being awarded and it was not misposted). The route has not been added to since I began, so another complete lie! Also, nothing said about promised penalties.

How does the NRLCA and USPS get away with all this blatant fraud over and over and over!

So we use to mark WSH on the scanner then USPS said it is counted. We the carriers said prove it. Our union bowed down and said we won't mark it. Now all of a sudden 4 years later, it isn't counted they are claiming.

:unsure::unsure::unsure::rolleyes::unsure::unsure::ROFLMAO::LOL::unsure::rolleyes:

The one about 400 pieces should be an easy win, but never say never with our union. USPS completely changed the game on that.

3rd one is just another joke.

Wonder what kind of money I can expect from these grievances.

As the great @DB.Cooper once said,

SHOW ME DA MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep !!!! This from the MMS presentation from The NRLCA from '22 ;

Random Flats Include:

A. Flats that have not been run on automation.
B. Flats from manual distribution cases
C. DPS flat mail errors
D. Flat-sized mailings not received in white tubs or from local distribution cases.
Could include mailings received at the delivery unit, such as WSH
Note: Do not include Walk Sequence Saturation mailings or Boxholders

I forgot to put this in the above post and I can't edit. This is from the current MMS presentation ;

So the union is going to go forward with this mms outcome even though they know for certain the numbers for dps is wrong and have obviously known this was an error in rrecs for some time now but NOW we are upset ...wow so even though they were aware of this they've continued with mms and letting us file disputes all the while knowing that this was being done the way it was...so when did this all become a grievance for which mms? 2023-2026. Looks like to me this was a problem from the get go!

What scares me is that the union and the PO will come to some kind of "lump sum" agreement where upon carriers will be reimbursed NOT pennies on the dollar but pennies on the TENS of THOUSANDS of dollars. It's happened in the past. I've been looking for it in my stuff but who here remembers when we all got something like $500.00 or $600.00 as a lump sum payment as a remedy for a class action mail count grievance ? It was back in the day under the "old" count but it did occur. We all got short changed on that one. I'll continue to look through my "stuff" for it.

Well, I'm still looking. But in the meantime and for some documentation I did find this from another state's union mag. This was from the National level grievance resulting from the '02 massacre , I mean count , where upon the PO was messing with mark ups, loading times, and column R ( misc. time ) time. In part from page(s) #8 and #9 ;

I realize that it has seemed like an eternity to bring
closure to the 2002 National Mail Count Grievance,
but our Union never faltered and continued to press
forward for a fair and equitable resolution. Finally
on December 14, 2007, we learned that the Union’s
persistent effort resulted in an unbelievably-large
monetary grievance settlement. We were once called
by the NALC (City Carriers’ Union) the lap dog
of management. That was never a true statement,
but today more than ever, a good argument could
be made for the NRLCA being called the lead dog
of the sled team. The NRLCA settled with the
Postal Service for an approximately 60-million-
dollar remedy. Regular carriers who have been
on the rolls from 2002 through 2006 will receive
$780 each.

My recollection was clearly inaccurate in my above post. Anyhow, it was roughly 5 years before THAT "settlement" was even reached and it did not in any way reflect even a small percentage of the monetary damaged inflicted upon the craft of which we are STILL feeling the effects to this day. So, to anyone having high hopes of thousands recovered along with relief days or pay for relief days worked that SHOULD have been enjoyed along with RCAs receiving pay for the days they SHOULD have worked but did not because the route(s) were not evaluated properly............................................consider yourself forewarned. A "settlement" is always lurking in the shadows. The write up / report can be found here.

😂😂
This ^ right here
Is why I slept very well ripping them off every chance I got 😉🙃

Also can anyone verify that local papers dropped off at post office have been counted? That is another things I have been questioning for a long time.

If carriers would only realize that we pay the NRLCA to conspire with USPS to work against us to benefit themselves.

My 8 month mis-posted route grievance they conspired to cover up proves this, besides the whole RRECS backdoor deal THEY made together without carrier input, decreasing our pay and NO ONE is allowed to see how our routes are now calculated. Nothing hidden here.

RRECS has significantly reduced compensation for two-thirds of rural letter carriers, with some experiencing cuts of $10,000 to $20,000 annually. These pay reductions are a central component of USPS’s strategy to cut labor costs, especially as mail volume declines. Despite these cuts, USPS reported $18.6 billion in revenue from April to June 2024, indicating that the system is contributing to increased profitability by reducing labor expenses.

This is smoke and mirrors, bread and circus, nothing more.

You forgot the half a buck we each got for SPM's we did for a year and a half....I was the coordinator to document them in our offices.
