Postmaster General Testifies on Reforming the U.S. Postal Service

oh, has anyone seen the letter he sent to steiner?

i love it!! and am encouraging my senators to do the same because things are pretty jacked up in my state as well and NO ONE is being held accountable for the way the postal service is shatting upon the American people - the very people it is constitutionally bound to serve.
Haven’t seen it, a city near us makes state news and national occasionally. They just lost Amazon and cut 22 city routes between 3 offices as in removed them fully and added to other routes. Should solve city side issues, rural is next in the next year.

i hope he can hold someone accountable because management is out. of. control.

It doesn't appear to work on my mobile device at least. Was confused why it was red.
i had put the link in there, don't know why it disappeared.

Doesn’t surprise me, saddens me to know only the tip of the iceberg in all reality. Can guarantee every district has similar or worse while those on the ground get shafted.

The problem in the USPS is not the bonuses received my the upper management, although they don't deserve them and shouldn't be getting them. The problem is in their ineptitude to fix actual problems that do cost the Usps a great deal. Anywhere from 2-10 % of ALL USPS parcels are handled and delivered for free. Why? Not because the Usps doesn't know about it, but because fixing the problem was harder than they thought it was going to be, so they just gave up and deliver for free. Atlanta was filling large warehouses with these parcels when capturing them and eventually just gave up and many managers are requiring carriers and clerks to just deliver them to avoid housing them. If the Usps can make a program to watch my delivery like a hawk, they can stop the fraudulent lables that are getting parcels delivered for free. One month of 10% of the USPS's parcel volume would pay it's billion $ losses quickly.

Yep you solved that problem and instead of losing billions, we are losing in hundred thousands or million, which is 100% better.

You stop the fraud labels, you cut management back, and you start looking into closing smaller office (offices within say 5-6 miles of main offices where everything is)(I.E. my office is main office and has 4 RMPO. You have to drive from all of those towns to main town for gas and groceries. So you could probably close all 4 and nothing would change much besides rural and city getting more boxes. But amount of money that could be saved closing those 4 offices, clerk and I figured at least 500K maybe closer to 600K).
