Scan Location Credit

OH NO you can't type it in my district. That's a huge NO-NO. Integrity issue they are claiming.

Trust me my district has gone psycho crazy on things.
So those tracking numbers never get a delivery update? That's insane. I've been having to key in at least 5 a day forever; some days I'll get 20 plus in just Amazon screwed up barcodes.

Used to drive me nuts that people would watch me from window as I hauled up whatever to door. Now I am thankful no one ever comes out beyond the entrance to door. Off chance I catch a customer outside I always say I can take it to door. Then do just that and scan at door left with individual. Customers take it as a great Service. I take it as making sure the route gets credit properly 🤷‍♂️.
Door delivery is the same as to the individual, just hand it to them.

Thanks!
47 concerns, like 47 Ronin perhaps? Ever seen that movie lol?

It’s stuff like this that makes me think this count and such is a test run to get an idea on the route numbers.
Concern #11 seems pretty important. Where and when do we get that info each pay period? SMH

11. Need complete list of volume and other data points to be provided to the union each PP
a. Finance and route number-like received on Master Lists
b. All volume data columns
c. All RRECS activity scans
d. Any other daily inputs
e. Route drive time
f. OOR drive and OOR walk time

How about a parcel with no scan if it's big and you go to door there is nothing that pings you. So idk I think we are thinking to hard.
no code, it's unscan left at door.
they aren't home so you take 3849 back to box which takes a half a mile and a pain to do
nonoNO, darlin'!!

slap that sucker on the door and be on your way.

Where can I find where it states that your initial scan on a package determines your pin location.. and not where you hit enter for the last time to complete the scan. .. seems to be a popular office debate at the moment.. I'm on the side of it's at where you first scan the barcode.. can I find that in writing somewhere?

I did a test a few years ago. A customer had two identical sprs.

At the mailbox I scanned 1 parcel, enter x 4 for a complete delivered in/at mailbox.

The second parcel I scanned the barcode, put the parcel in the box and drove away. IIRC it was about 3 miles away I completed the scan.

Back at the office I looked up where they were indicated as delivered. BOTH showed delivery within a couple feet of the mailbox and each other.
