Postmaster meeting- talk of the count being thrown out

Push Rrecs back another 5 years the only reason I can do my route in 4 hours is because I'm fast the reason the carriers in Amazon offices take 10 hours is because their slow. The current system is fair Rrecs will make my route go down🤣
Are you in an Amazon Office? Not sure you should be comparing fast to slow carriers if you aren’t. Shouldn’t be a competition to
See how fast a Carrier gets done , but how accurate they are.

Here's my issue with the mini count as of now.

#1 If they do a MINI COUNT, it needs to be for an entire month, not 2 weeks. At least if you do a month, you cover everything water bills and so on if they come in raw. I'm one of the lucky ones where all my water bills fall on these days.
Harder to hide/hold a months worth of mail 🤨 Not only would the mail carrier be blowing up their spot but so would everyone late on bills 🤣😂

No matter what happens a regular should be guaranteed 40 hours a week in five days...The union didn't think holding buffers was a good idea?? WTF?

Oh it's ok you are guaranteed 40 hours in six days until October so everything is fine...

Too many gravy train routes crying😪😪
So you’ve been able to validate your data? You know that you are getting credit for every single parcel you delivered and you know if you’ve been given the appropriate credit for it? You’ve been able to ensure your park points haven’t moved? You know that you are getting true and accurate box coverage? You’ve been able to average 86ppm? You know that the plant has an accurate count on your flats?

I have 800 stops on my route. When I left to start the route my supervisor pulled me aside and told me that in the computer it’s showing that I have only 13 parcels.

Well I have a guy who collects stamps and he gets a minimum of 5 registers a day. Not counting stamps that come as normal packages.

I’m supposed to trust that?

I think something was wrong nationwide Saturday. Load Truck wasn't working, and my package Lookahead showed I had only 6 parcels. Heck I had one house that had that many alone.

Lots of people had the same issue.

Looks like rrecs will help in reducing work hours!
I would not be surprised at all if USPS is looking to lower rural hours by as much as 10%, and possibly more.... it could be bad.... we may soon know..... hold on to your wallet's folks.... 🤷‍♂️(n):poop::oops:

There's some guy who posts a good bit here, and seems to know a good bit about this RRECS nonsense, and he says he's retiring soon after it's implemented..... js.... I haven't specifically asked how much RRECS has to do with that decision, but I'm guessing it's a factor....🤷‍♂️🧐

10% of a 40k is 4.8 hours... 10% of a 45K is 5.4 hours....
IMO …. I could not agree more in that (on paper) they are trying to lower postal work hours… 🤔 I’m sure the vast majority of carriers on here have been a victim of the infamous “postal” math (more like lack there of) working against them in more ways then can be counted 💸 especially while being a RCA 😒

This is what the meeting was about.
Nationwide teleconference to let postmasters know we’re broke.

They wonder why we are broke. Look at all the money being spent on the SD&C things knowing they may not work and on the vehicles, which that is at least needed and should have been done ages ago.

Maybe close some of these post office that should have been closed years ago. There is one in my district that the town has maybe 20 people and yet it still has post office, but town I live with 125 people doesn't have one and it was closed almost 35 years ago.
