Are you in an Amazon Office? Not sure you should be comparing fast to slow carriers if you aren’t. Shouldn’t be a competition toPush Rrecs back another 5 years the only reason I can do my route in 4 hours is because I'm fast the reason the carriers in Amazon offices take 10 hours is because their slow. The current system is fair Rrecs will make my route go down![]()

See how fast a Carrier gets done , but how accurate they are.
Harder to hide/hold a months worth of mailHere's my issue with the mini count as of now.
#1 If they do a MINI COUNT, it needs to be for an entire month, not 2 weeks. At least if you do a month, you cover everything water bills and so on if they come in raw. I'm one of the lucky ones where all my water bills fall on these days.
No matter what happens a regular should be guaranteed 40 hours a week in five days...The union didn't think holding buffers was a good idea?? It doesn’t matter if the data is accumulated from 40 years or one day; if it is wrong, it’s wrong. It doesn’t matter if that data is 95 percent of the carrier creditable data or 5 percent. If it is wrong, it is wrong.
Oh cool so you’ve seen your parcel data? You know for a fact that the USPS has been keeping accurate data even though they haven’t shared that with us?100% correct.
So you’ve been able to validate your data? You know that you are getting credit for every single parcel you delivered and you know if you’ve been given the appropriate credit for it? You’ve been able to ensure your park points haven’t moved? You know that you are getting true and accurate box coverage? You’ve been able to average 86ppm? You know that the plant has an accurate count on your flats?Too many gravy train routes crying![]()
gosh, i miss that vampire.I give it a 10! Good beat, easy to dance to.
I think something was wrong nationwide Saturday. Load Truck wasn't working, and my package Lookahead showed I had only 6 parcels. Heck I had one house that had that many alone. So you’ve been able to validate your data? I have 800 stops on my route. When I left to start the route my supervisor pulled me aside and told me that in the computer it’s showing that I have only 13 parcels.
Well I have a guy who collects stamps and he gets a minimum of 5 registers a day. Not counting stamps that come as normal packages.
I’m supposed to trust that?
I heard them saying there was supposed to be some sort of software update.... js.... who knows how bad that will funk things up....I think something was wrong nationwide Saturday. Lots of people had the same issue.

USPS falling behind on financial goals for FY 2023, doubles projected losses | Federal News Network

This is what the meeting was about.
Nationwide teleconference to let postmasters know we’re broke.
I would not be surprised at all if USPS is looking to lower rural hours by as much as 10%, and possibly more.... it could be bad.... we may soon know..... hold on to your wallet's folks....Looks like rrecs will help in reducing work hours!
10% of a 40k is 4.8 hours... 10% of a 45K is 5.4 hours....much as 10%,
There's some guy who posts a good bit here, and seems to know a good bit about this RRECS nonsense, and he says he's retiring soon after it's implemented..... js.... I haven't specifically asked how much RRECS has to do with that decision, but I'm guessing it's a factor....Looks like rrecs will help in reducing work hours!
I've seen some speculating it could be that high..... wasn't there a thread here saying 3-5 hour losses???? So, maybe they have a target.... maybe 10%.... who knows, all we can do at this point is guess and speculate....10% of a 40k is 4.8 hours... 10% of a 45K is 5.4 hours....
IMO …. I could not agree more in that (on paper) they are trying to lower postal work hours…10% of a 40k is 4.8 hours... 10% of a 45K is 5.4 hours....
What about people that have been losing their grip for years delivering Free Amazon? Every day is eating them up.What would be nice as I said in a different post, if try published these results and then delayed for 6 months for people to get a grip
