Any idea for this?

Then I’m done, DONE! Typing in numbers…. If it don’t scan on the first 3 try’s to scan it, I’m DONE! It’s now an unscan parcel! Time built in, MY AZZ!!
Be prepared to be asked about most of those at some point. Been my experience pass machine can read them or they get put in manually by clerks. It then causes a fail and management gets emails. This then means they question you.

easier on load to ask for new barcodes to be printed on noticeable ones. Or if you use load truck any that don’t scan get new labels printed.

I know, just another thing that the engineers overlooked to give proper due credit in their 10 year research. Lots of times I have spent ironing out the wrinkled barcode label. Unsticking and then resticking to try to get to scan. Well no more doing free work.

In our office, they now make us sign in and out gas cards separately from vehicle keys and arrow keys. Extra location than what we were measured for last MMS, so either extra misc time to do it or need extra measured distance. I have to get gas 3-4 times a week, so this could add several minutes to my eval. Also, 4240s are being kept by manager now. This just started recently. I should be getting extra 8127 time to hunt down anything in morning since we weren’t doing this last MMS. But I will be asking for misc time, or measured distances for this next MMS and multiple trips. They have also moved some of our needed equipment around. No longer at case. So that is going to be misc time to hunt it down each day. Distributing misthrown parcels either to central location or to correct route if known could also be misc time if it’s not done while in STARTLOADVEH mode where time is already being credited to route.
I heard they want to take away our footage to load the llv in the morning. We already get time for it on our scanner . Has anyone else heard of this ?

Well you don’t get footage to load your llv or van. The footage you get is for vehicle inspection each morning.
Yes , that's what I heard . Although , I make 2 trips to unload my llv in the afternoon, would I get the footage for that ?

While the engineers MIGHT have overlooked this particular vector / standard, don't be so "sold on" or "sure" that they did. Keep in mind that the Engineer's Final Determination Report is redacted more than the JFK assassination files. Also, keep in mind that there have been at least a couple /three tasks mentioned on this very forum that during the study either were altered and / or abolished. I recall seeing that refueling was , at one time, actual time as it should be. Point being, what we see is not what we got from the engineers. Look at the recent MOU rescinding the parcel credit Step 4. Okay , that HAD to put out for all to see because there was language in existence and everyone knew about it. What makes ANYONE think that there weren't "talks", "discussions" , "agreements" , etc. between the PO and the union BEFORE the standards were finally released YEARS later ?

Here is a silly one...... what about cows on the road can i use that one as misc time. People around here are starting to shift there herds now that hay season is about done.

It’s possible I recorded any wait times that happened for a week prior to last mms. Put them in for consideration of approvAl. Continued to document all wait time activities for a week into mms. Got most of them approved eventually and time allowed for the full 2 weeks. all That got approved were daily or at least 4 times a week.

my take away was district required it to be daily to even be considered.

After learning from one of your previous posts that this could be done, I asked supervisor for new barcode to be printed to replace an illegible one. Instead, supervisor looked up tracking number on computer, hand wrote it on parcel, and said I had to manually enter it. I told her there is a way to print new barcode. She looked at me as if I were the most entitled pita, and condescendingly told me she had taken the time to write the numbers on the parcel for me, and that I had to hand type them in. 🤦🏻 The real story is I think she’s in over her head and doesn’t know how to print them. Rather than admit that and offer to find out, she chose to belittle me. About par for the course at the P.O. these days.

Most of the parcels that I have to enter by hand or smooth out to be able to scan did not receive AAU scan from pass machine. Our clerks never have time to enter by hand either. I can tell this while using Load Truck feature. It doesn’t recognize tracking numbers that didn’t get AAU scan. I always wonder whether I am getting credit for delivery scan since parcel isn’t listed for my route.

It’s a little different for a reg to ask vs a PTF who without a doubt hits 40 hrs every week. Plus I am pig headed and will wait once vehicle loaded on load time till they do it. 😂

The collected distance to the hamper means just one trip, one swap is included in the footage and any additional trip can be claimed?

No it’s a preset amount of trips based on how many parcels to your route each day. Don’t quote me but I believe it is 1-63 = 1 hamper 64- 126 = 2 hampers so on so forth.

Your getting Random Letter count for each piece pulled from the DPS instead of “Parcel” at 8+ pieces. This is better. Also, what would be entered as the delivery location? We still get parcel credit upon delivery depending on why.

Why does it is say ""each trip" in The RRECS Guide?

Office Walking Time (S002) is also applied to each trip to retrieve parcels and will be
discussed in more detail under the Office Walking Section below.

Each trip implies you get the walking distance for each trip that is predetermined by the amount of parcel You have that day. Doesn’t matter if you yourself make 10 trips but only have 100 parcels you only get paid for 2.
