A regular carrier in my office was just approved for FMLA leave through HRSSC. They are not at all eligible and misrepresented their situation to their doctor. My postmaster knew this and told them to file it anyway. Normally, I would not care. But this person is the first (and loudest) to complain about anything in the office and is now openly bragging to other employees how they βgot out of being a Christmas slaveβ, telling everyone to have fun freezing in the dark for Amazon, sucks to be us, and just generally being a jerk about all of this. Who do I contact to report this fraud? Is OIG the phone call to make? Or is this a complaint for Dept of Labor?

If you believe it to be fraud, you have an ethics duty to report. But, TREAD VERY CAREFULLY, repercussion could be ugly.
And FMLA is not necessarily OWCP. Different programs.
