Now i feel bad, about cringing and screaming delivering holloween stuff being part of Jesus's 1st church...

No need to feel bad...I've delivered Porno flicks, VOGUE magazines(raunchiest sex talk in them ever) National association of Men/boy lovers magazines, Big a$$ vibrating/plumbing tool for lesbians....I've delivered that and more, WAY MORE, than I ever wanted too...I dont agree with most of it at all, but I'm paid, or at least I used to be, to do a job. I've never received a public comment or THANK YOU for that....ever. Do I need one?? No I don't...would I like one...sure it would be nice. I'm a Christian, and I'm not perfect, but I do believe that I should do whats right, and its not complicated. I do my job, customers might be perverts, its none of my business, unless I'm invited to discuss it by them, which I would be glad to do on my time.
Do I support Halloween? No....i dont, do I love fall? Yes, i do. Am I ok with giving candy to kids at our Church fall celebration? Sure!
Look up the stats on Halloween, more children, more homeless people dissappear during this time of the year than any other time....never to be heard from, or seen again. Do I like delivering that stuff? No...not really, BUT, it is my job, so I get it done. This country was established on Christian principles, thats why we are FREE. Ask me my beliefs, I'm glad to share, if we are very good friends/customer, your life is falling apart because of the consequences of living a life that is full of sexual filth, and perversion, and you have finally decided you want something more, something real....I will just share what I found, and introduce you to my Saviour. You can take it, and find PEACE, or not, and just do you, and end up wherever you decide too...your choice.
So...I dont feel bad. Just doing a job, to the best of my ability.... most of my customers know what I believe, and I treat them the same no matter what they order.....people make choices, I cant make them for them... I say Love them how they are...and if they want something better, then point the way..

Saw this on fb a while ago, has anyone heard of any carrier refusing to deliver something because it goes against their beliefs? Christian or otherwise? I may be newer, but I haven't. It's our job, we do it without judgment and go home. It's really just an attention seeking post.

Back in the spring I refused to deliver priority mail express signature required cremated remains. Told supervisor I wasn’t going to have a dead person riding with me all day and I’ll leave notice on it. Nobody hassled me.

I've delivered several remains of people as a carrier, just be kind to the recipient. Show compassion.... Do your job. Do whats right, not like postal mgmt either.....REALLY DO WHATS RIGHT.
I’ve delivered them before.
I felt a sort of kinship to the dearly departed, because I had to exit the 129F LLV to effect delivery, while being careful not to burn my ankle on the 165F step as I was dismounting.
I preferred carrying them to riding with a supervisor.
We get express all the time with urns. Can’t count how many I have delivered during my time working. Being honest wish they were not signature required I just want to ninja them and run. Not a comfortable situation sometimes.

I had a lady ask me if I wanted them because she didn't. I guess it was her ex husband or something. I declined that one though.

I was caught totally off guard one time when the customer refused them, I hesitated for a moment and then said "ok I'll scan it refused" and walked away. A very uncomfortable situation.
