It just keeps getting better!!!

We have an office steward, but she likes to roll over and play dead.

I am the only one in the office that seems to not be job scared. Heck,with working 12 hr days now,and when we go o back to the route's evaluation,I could make more per hour flipping burgers. If they fired me, I would consider it a favor!Anyway did talk to my ADR and she said this is all coming down from our new "poom". Guess he's needing a big fat performance check off of our backs
a stew could stop this with a class action tomorrow.

Never ever give FMLA paperwork to mgmt....they are not supposed to ever see it. As Ethelanne said address is on paperwork, as well as phone number, fax number, and I believe the email address. If you fax it, call and confirm they received it, and ask them to send an email that they did receive it.
 
paperwork i have, just says to send to: appropriate fmla administration hrssc address lol or fax w/o a number... anybody else?
Where did you get the paperwork? If you got it from your supervisor or eLRA, it will have the address. Not sure if it is the same for everyone—I’m in the eastern US, and we send to Greensboro, NC
 
Yep !!!! That's one of the reasons I use explain to everyone as to why you never ever really "win" a grievance. The damage has already been done. I noticed you used the word "react" in your post. Therein lies part of the problem......................react. Now, if there was a proactive posture, many issues would.....................well...................never be issues.
I have requested DR & ADR to step in prior to a violation (being proactive) the answer to me has always been to file a grievance after the fact. The only thing not reacting accomplishes is educating the violators that they can get away with anything they want. This happens over and over usually for the same violation.

Have had a few times ADR or DR steps in before Contract ever violated. Not many but it does happen in my district. Only when it has dealt specifically with safety in mind. I still give heads up routinely on issues before they happen. More of a heads up grievance incoming than anything.
