That's when I knew it was time to GET OUT!! How could there be no limit in what was to be delivered in one work day?? The only extra effort I've put out in the past 10 years is when I had a new sub.. I would help THEM on my own time because it is so overwhelming for new hires and I wanted some kind of relief..

I feel the pain that you had to endure. There has to be some labor laws that they are breaking. I have email my Govenor and Senators. I am totally not job scared and if they want to fire me,they would be doing me and my worn out body a huge favor.Glad you could save yourself and escape from this miserable place.

From afar, the only suggestion I have is to let the system fail, as unprofessional as that sounds. No one should expect, or even attempt to suggest an office can deliver that much mail safely in a day.

Probably the union need to know tonight, to monitor and advise when to drop the pretense and quit.

Obviously, that advise only would work with an actual union, not the NRLCA.

I have already contacted the union. I don't know how they think this task can be accomplished. Also,I am scheduled for cataract surgery next month,cannot see in the dark. Doesn't matter to them,just get r done!!!! Wouldn't want my worst enemy working at this place

This Christmas has been the weirdeset Christmas I have ever delivered.

I'm getting (I can't say the words I want to 2 words 4 letters, first starts with B & 2nd with F) every Monday. 459 scans TOTAL last Monday. Smashed OLD RECORD by 166 SCANS!!!!! Besides that it isn't bad at all in my area. I don't get it.

I'm just shocked that the dummy in charge claims we don't need any help for holidays. REALLY?!?!?

To highlight the bold, a retired carrier and I were talking about this and he was firm believer that they are destroying the post office. I wasn't a beliver few years ago, but I am starting think they are because again no person could deliver that much in a day, but yet we just keep getting more and more on Monday.

I think a whole lot of this lies on the shoulders of Dejoy. He is trying to destroy from within. Privatize us and contract the work out,no benefits,win-win situation. Trying to put so much on us older workers that we will just crawl off and die and he won't have to worry about getting rid of us. New employees will not stay when they see the workload. Alot of offices across the USA have Amazon piled up in parking lots,no one to deliver. Does Bezo not know what he is doing to the American people by putting his crap in an over 200 yr old institution that was not equipped to handle such a mother load???? Just wonder what he is paying per parcel. Bet a stamp would cost more. There needs to be a major investigation go going on,because someone is lining their pockets with Amazon money.om,rant over Sorry

We are all fighting the same battle you are my friend...some of us, believe it or not, have it even worse. I know its hard to believe...but its TRUE. I've said it more than once....people cannot hold up under this kind of pressure. Get that 1767 out, and protect yourself. Go to the Doctor, and get checked out, tell them how stressed out you are....USE FMLA for valid reasons to protect yourself. TML, I'm always praying for you, you keep your chin up. Remember, we are FAMILY, and you arent alone in this struggle, do whats best for you....the people who love you, need you in their lives, so make sure you are there for them, instead of making this TRAINWRECK OF A COMPANY, the priority in your life...
