in my office we have some carriers with an extra $800 this check with rca's upset with less than 40 hours.. make it make sense!

That's what I'm wondering about.... maybe there's been a shift in thinking about this NO OT period.... last year they'd give the Reg Friday afternoon off to avoid a few hours of OT, but then they had to pay the Reg for a FULL day, PLUS EMA.... then also pay the sub.... probably is cheaper to just pay the Reg the OT in many cases.... I dunno, seems different this year for some reason....

NopeI was wondering if there are peeps out there getting enuf help to keep them out of OT.... like a Friday afternoon off.... we used to get stuff like that, but not this year....
And am ' gross'ing an embarrassing amount of money...lmbo

48K here, (eval should be a 52) I had 82 hours week 1 and 78 hours week 2... they left 8 hours off my week 1 that I need them to fix where I came in and worked a short day on my day off as they let the sub run just packages that day. So I should be due 64 hours of OT and the put me in for 56. My paycheck after taxes is about double what it normally is. I wish I had help. My help only came where I worked my day off and they gave me partial package help that day. The sub that worked it worked 6 hours on my route that day before helping on others and they would have cut all my mail and flats that day had I not come in. Also - if you can't tell we are an Amazon office.

Sorry; this thread is prattle! Zero net gain for our household. Using the 'bonus' to pay off the 'lectric and home heat bills!! Twice the price for no extra luxury!!! No idea where the 62% (Yep! 62% as of 1/1/24) rise of the 'health care' insurance premium cash will come from.

Someone please clarify. My check shows work hours 43, actual hours worked 46. I got my 8.6 hours for working my K day, but I didn't get 3 hours of Xmas overtime.
Last year, they lumped all 6 days together. I'm a little confused, and want to make sure I'm not being screwed 5 hours of OT

Sounds like they're shorting you.... but, you're getting over $54 an hour OT rate, which ain't half bad.... js....
Not sure about $$$ yet, but I sorta had a long weekend (if that counts). Saturday morning I was still so exhausted from last week, I called in sick. Slept most of Saturday. Sunday my daughter and I went out for dinner. I ate something bad, and spent the better part of Monday in the bathroom (and napping inbetween bathroom use) today, I woke up feeling better, but still not quite myself. So I called off again…. 4 day weekend, either sleeping, or in the bathroom for most of it.
But if memory serves me, I was around 15 hours over eval for this check coming in on Friday. I’ll do some math Friday night (if I get out of work not to tired). And it just hit me, I’m only gonna have to burn 2 sick days for that 4 day weekend. I was thinking I’d be using 3, but technically, mondays my day off, so I was actually only sick Saturday and today (but there went my daca 3 tor this week, oh well)

. all green card time so I am not complaining. Last Sunday all gov vehicles were in shop or being used got the ok to use PoV.

I'm shocked, because we got slaughtered in November and I worked over eval quite a bit. So it seems it's not technically qualifying as Xmas OT, because that's my basic rate.
