UPDATE: National Day of Observance MOU – Thursday, January 9, 2025

After discussion with USPS HQ, the Memorandum of Agreement from May 2000 (link below) will be applied to the National Day of Observance tomorrow (January 9, 2025).

Thank you I read the article and it tells what we get but not how I will appear on our pay stubs. Will it be like an x day, annual leave or a separate category?

Was your relief day on that Thursday Jan 9th? I think the way it goes is they will use the pay code for other which used to be O whenever you want to take off. It doesn’t ever show up on your paystub.
