does anyone know/understand the parameters on the last page of edit book? I'm confused how they get their math. I read middle is 124. the other 2 sides r 144. the middle is reserved for endorsed labels, right bottom-10 spaces r reserved for CFS. pink cards r at the beginning of each row. so 6 rows plus the 10 that would be a total of 16. if it doesn't add up to that where r they getting the numbers?

Also on the row that says cells (if you have 6 rows on each side of the case) wouldn't the total of available cells be (left-234/center-240/right-240) (left-39/center 40/right 40) 39x6=234 40x6=240 that is not the numbers they have....does anyone know where they get the info from cause that is how i was taught. also r they able to change it?

wat does used, unassigned, available mean? where do those number come from?

i have been asking mgnt to understand it b/c the math doesn’t make sense based on wat i have read. plus the last 3 pgs of my edit book I have Os in the column where the R's & Ls are. I have checked all my cells and made sure the math was right...they all add up correctly, 39 40 40. My PM said they sent an email to AMS and they said it doesn't relate to anything which i know is the wrong the answer because it means overflow.

AMS has it set up as "carousel" casing method.
Start on left case. So 1 cell for "pink card" ( PS form 3982). 39 cells for boxes. Then 40 cells for boxes middle case. Finally 40 cells right case.
Start 2nd row at left case. Continue for each row.
Don't know what you mean about endorsed labels. 10 spaces are reserved for CFS. So with the "carousel" method, CFS would be at the end of the bottom row- right case.
Load truck sections (1-6) are the same.
So left case= 234 spaces + 6 for pink cards= 240.
Center case= 240 spaces.
Right case = 230 spaces + 10 for CFS = 240.

Regarding the Edit Book: is there a way to flag addresses that do not receive package deliveries? Ideally, this information would sync with the system routing these packages, saving me from manually writing them up every morning.

yes i assumed it was carousel....your ? about endorsed labels i read that the system reserves spaces for the endorsement slots....anyway i dont use any spaces for CFS or endorsment slots we have cubbies on the side of our cases for that stuff so i utilize all the cells for addresses. so i dont understand where AMS is getting their numbers and why they wont change it...becuase im still using the cells just for different purpose in my eyes

Yes my route is setup as carousel. I believe endorsement and CFS are the same thing. You have to endorse the top letter before placing in the proper CFS section. AMS has CFS after the end of the route. I have seen carriers cut labels. Thus moving CFS wherever they desire.
AMS will never add the space for pink cards or CFS to be used for boxes. Even if you don't use them. So every route is minus 16 spaces automatically. So these will be accounted for in the totals on the last page.
Unassigned are space/cells that aren't used for boxes. ie: My route has 33 unassigned. So I have a long blank at end of route.
Available is just how many spaces each row has. Based on equipment used.

The chart/table is showing rows. Moving as a carousel. Not casing equipment.
So row 1 = Top left + Top middle + Top right = 120 spaces
Continue on for a total of 6 rows. 120 spaces each.
720, same as adding all the casing equipment together.
I don't know what you're referring to regarding O,R and L. What column is this?
