Do we have the ability to check parcels credited to rrecs now at the end of day? How do we do that?
I thought anything with a scan is a parcel under rrecs. Did that change?
I wondered if return receipt is classified as a parcel? There isnt a designation on the 4241 A or M for them. Are they a nothing burger?
Scan that Uline QR code look at what number it scans as, have your supervisor look up that number, it won't exist, I checked. If it doesn't exist we're not getting credit for it. You can also scan bar codes on some magazines, flats, and some letters, they also give us NO credit. Believe me, if anything would scan I would have tried it. Candy bar rapper bar codes, chip bags etc. don't count for anything. However, Ups, Fedx and DHL bar codes will scan if you click on "no other bar code" on that parcel. You can also scan other company's parcels that are left in you boxes as a pickup if you enter in that pickup has no bar code.
Return receipts are showing up as parcels because they are a scan. You should also scan them as a pick up parcel after you take them off the signed certifieds, or they are not put into the system until scanned at the plant. If questioned about it, say, "i do that for timeline transparency for my customers".
Again you can always check for any item you scan by looking up that bar code and seeing when and where it was scanned. You can ask your manager to look up your parcels at the end of the day on the radar report. You can see how many you delivered to the door, box, individual, etc.
On your scanner you can look under review entries and see how many items you scanned that day. That will include any load truck scans that don't count for anything, so you will have to subtract out any of those to get the number of parcels that you scanned that day. I checked those numbers everyday at the beginning of Rrecs until I was satisfied that it was accurate.
Aau only means that your clercks scanned it as that. If they miss it, we still get credit for that scan when we scan it. Check this out by scanning a parcel left in your customer's box when you can't fit another one in. Take both to the door and check those bar codes. Both will show as delivered to the door, even though only one received an AAU scan by your clerks that morning.
