Where the heck is the NEW CONTRACT?

We got a standup talk today about how broke the USPS is, and how much $$$ money they're losing... they even equated how many carriers & clerks this loss equaled... I was hoping they would say how many mngt geekazoids they would have to get rid of to make up this amount... but, they didn't... probably afraid we all would have cheered...

This probably had nothing to do with them getting ready to put the screws to us on the contracts... ?

-- After that "encouraging news", please tell us that you asked manglement how the USPS was planning on paying for a $6 Billion contract for the NGDV's as well as new scanners!

-- The tracking program indicated the contract package was left on the steps of USPS HQ.

-- Must be those "porch pirates" again!!
 
They have to warm the lube up some more before they start using it on the base.

USPS is broke because of too many idiot $$$ programs. Too much $$$ lost to under table Amazon deal and Stamps.com. Too many losing discount rates on all mail types. USPS IS BROKE because no manager can run a business. Management only blames the worker bees for their own failures!

How many sets of eyes they got following me on their GPS map to see where I'm going, when I'm only doing the same thing I've been doing for the last 30 years. How much $$$ is wasted on these charades??? The eyes need to be on these so call management thieves! Management of the USPS is legalized thievery!

Without carriers no one gets their mail. Without clerks, the PO windows close. Seems like the least likely people you should go around trying to intimidate.
Of course USPS is broke. There's nothing business savvy about it. Driving to every house in America every day. Our populous just demands it, so its not going away anytime soon, I'd think. At least not until Amazon says so.

I often think of that... they're now sitting around on their little PacMan computers watching us deliver the mail just as we've done for DECADES... and what, now they're gonna start giving us some pointers about how to do it better??? ?

If they wanna show me how to deliver my route better, I'd be happy to ride in the backseat and take notes while they show me how it's *REALLY* supposed to be done... that'd be hilarious... ?
