2024 Jeep Wrangler

Looking for info on buying a new RHD Jeep Wrangler….. First, how much are your loans costing? 900 per month? Are you getting the loan through the dealer or somewhere else? How do you go about getting a longer warranty? Like the 150,000 mile warranty and how much per month does that cost? any info is helpful…. thanks

If I were you I would just contact the dealership and field your questions. Better to get the info from the source then not imo.
I will talk to the dealership, but I would like to hear what other people are getting as well….. Always good to hear from others…..

Torgy -- Dangerously assuming you are purchasing the RHD Jeep to be used on your route.

-- Don't forget to contact manglement to get paperwork signed that you are getting a RHD vehicle to use on your route. That way manglement ( supposedly ) can not put an LLV or Metris on your route for 3 years once you have made the purchase.

-- Check out MOU #8 of the contract. Once manglement has been informed with your WRITTEN intentions, manglement has 10 working days to ask District if there are plans to put a postal-provided vehicle on your route. New this contract -- manglement could place a postal-provided vehicle on your route within 90 days of your notification.

-- There is a $ incentive to be had if all the paperwork is done properly.

-- If manglement indicates they just don't have the associated paperwork -- that is a grievance, per Section 142.3 of the PO-603.

-- Maybe someone can post a link to the paperwork.

-- Good luck.

It will depend upon your credit history, not others. Also your down payment. I don't care what they are selling, I wouldn't commit to $900 a month for any car. Fastest way to stress and financial hardship on USPS salary. If you are working a $150 k job with cheap housing expenses- go for it.

The union magazine has a bunch of used ones for sale. I think there is a website for rural vehicle sales, also. Duncan imports runs a few.

Btw, the mou incentive is $500.

I swear these old parts on the board could care less. Yes, in 1992 the last time they delivered mail, you could buy a new car for $9,000 and the incentive was...$500. Now a Jeep is $70,000 and the incentive is...$500. Just like the 1/2 mile rule when you delivered 2 dismount packages a week.
Yes, the incentive should be increased to about $5000, imo. Otherwise, it's not worth the ink to print it.

I'm really hoping the new contract updates and allows for better wording on past mous and language. Boiler plate passing needs to stop.

Resolution Writers -- UNITE!! Start a campaign to flood the NRLCA with resolutions to increase the "incentive" for purchasing a RHD vehicle or having a vehicle converted to RHD.

-- It just might get their attention away from planning the next national convention, or not.

For a new RHD, it’s $1000 incentive. $500 for conversion (I believe). I got the $1000 but after taxes, it came to $632. Just used that to put professionally installed lights on it

I just got a 2024. I was able to sell my 2015 to help with the down payment. Mopar is offering an UNLIMITED mile warranty that is ...get this ...transferable. I was sick of my 2015 (bought new) and 2018 (bought used) nickel and diming me. It was nowhere near $70,000. It has satellite radio, heated seats, a backup camera and if it breaks down, they will come help me. It's worth it to me.
