A DESG 79 and leave earning question..

As a former DESG 79 AUX runner I was (not a REP) berated this morning by my SUPER and an AUX runner battle.

It boiled down to this... Does a 79 earn their AL/SL when covering another route as their Primary option if on the 5/1. I said NO, but management says yes.

Who is correct?

Yes but you only earned leave based on the hours you worked on the Aux. I believe it's 1 hour earned for every 20 worked. After you hit 90 days they go back and calculate how many hours you've worked on the Aux. during that 90 days and then you get credit for that also.
This is correct. Almost 8 years on an AUX route here. No leave earned for working any other route.
