Aux hold downs

To clarify I work in an office that’s a hub and we have one spoke that has a manger instead of a postmaster. I have a hold down on the aux in the main office but it’s only evaluated at 4 hours. The spoke office also has an aux with a more senior RCA holding it down (it’s a 5/1 split) because it has a longer evaluation. Every time the more senior RCA fills in for their regular I never get put on the longer aux and stay on my aux and a RCA with less seniority does the longer aux. The matrix says the second on the route is by seniority. Is this because I have a hold down on an aux already?

Aux route subs don’t have a ”matrix”. There is no Secondary or Tertiary route assignment since an Aux route is a 6 day assignment regardless of...
Do you mean that you work in the main office (APO - Administrative Post Office) and the other office is an RMPO (Remotely Managed Post Office)? Hub and spokes are Sunday Amazon. :)

Are you a 79? If so, the aux you are on is yours. Are you on 5/1 or 6? Do you have a primary route?

Aux routes do not go on the matrix nor do they have subs.

Aux carriers can be utilized on other routes, running parcels or expresses, but only after serving the aux route; unless working the primary regular route.
