Back Pay for RCA?

Looking forward to that $700-900 bump. Probably will use that for some new tires for the POV.
How are you calculating this figure? And the back pay is paying back for what exactly? I'm an RCA since 2015. Hey yea man, I'll take summa dat back pay, but I'm confused as to why we're getting it.

Because you were working for almost a year with no contract.

Increased wages go back to the day after the old contract expired.

They have to look at hours worked, and figure out what they owe you.?

Not quite. The Increase in wages only go back to when they would have been effective, not to the end of the last Contract. The COLA is only for Regulars & PTFs & goes back to effective mid-August of 2018. The Contractual raise will only backed to November of 2018 & is for everyone.
So, RCAs & ARCs only get backpay from mid-November to August 16, 2019. Regs & PTFs get the COLA backed for 1 year AND the November Contract raise back to Mid-November.
None of these back to the beginning of the new Contract period.
