Best way to get route cuts?

Now that they can do route cuts is there any way to push the issue? We have multiple 48Ks and other routes near there, enough that an Aux should be created. While the office doesn't have a lot of space for another case and our dock area is severely limited one would assume adjustments could still be made. Anyone with knowledge of recent cuts know what prompts management to bite the bullet? 47k & 48k were supposed to be temporary but seem to be never ending...

You could file a grievance since the Overburdened status is supposed to be temporary according to the Contract.

-- Besides telling manglement that you would like your route to be cut, give manglement a dated memo stating you want your route cut.

-- Have manglement sign the dated memo. Should manglement refuse to sign, note on the memo that manglement refused to sign it. Leave a copy of the dated memo on manglement's desk.

-- Now you have a "paper trail" in case manglement claims you never asked to have the route cut or manglement's copy of the memo gets "lost".
