Can I grieve my Aux route being absorbed by larger route

My postmaster is trying to absorb my 2.83 hour aux route into the senior aux route 3.5 hours. The bigger aux route will take mine. Two different zip codes. Can i grieve the absorption. This will leave me with no route and I will be just a sub again.

What is the PM claiming? Both hired under same pay table?

USPS view. What would be cheaper? The liability of having to pay for part time coverage of 2 individuals or 1, for what will remain an AUX at the end.

The eval on the other route 3.5 hours a day. The PM wants to consolidate two auxs route in one. The pm wants to consolidate due to lack of subs.

--  You can grieve, but it probably will not go far.

--  Remember, even though you consider it "my route", the route actually belongs to the USPS and as the representative of the USPS, the PM has Article 3 - Management Rights - of the current contract which pretty much gives manglement carte blanche in how the post office is run.

--  If the PM feels combining the 2 AUX routes, even with different ZIP codes, will better serve the post office, then it will be the PM's call - even with the 2018 count nearing the horizon.

--  Contact the Assistant District Representative about the impending consolidation.   Maybe the ADR can find something to use against the consolidation.
