They are not on your route. You must follow direct orders. Since this is really blatant thievery, maybe the DR can call your PM to get this stopped.

The Machine is anxious to please all for carrier Pickups. They have lost many to Brown and Fed.
Is this a daily thing? even if it's not. Something to try since they are a POB renter.
I was mandated for a similar retailer who is a POB renter to stop and collect outgoing daily. I grieved based on POB rental. I offered a solution to avoid step 2.
Since it was a 5 out of 6 thing.... I suggested they go out to this retailer to inspect for a correct parking point also 10ths of miles added to 4003. From that location I asked for footage and dismount credit. I got the credits.

The PO wants business, which includes pickups, which new business is good for us carriers also. However, we want to be paid for new work we do, so it seems you should do as we did for one carrier in one of our offices -- since the pickup is frequent, we added the customer to the route, stop, miles on 4003, parking and steps travel from park to inside to return to vehicle, and require customer to submit pickup form online to document for "count" or addition credit. All added to edit sheets, sent to district, approved.
Basically reiterating an example of doing just as Wind indicated above. By adding to edit, 4003 in rural system database, it automatically increases your route without a count IF there's enough time and mileage to do so.
