Has anyone done a daca 101? Limited duty ??? I just got a note from my dr to just case mail . Im having an issue with my thumb , needs surgery . Workman's comp doesn't know anything !!!

Only for OWCP approved cases does mgmt have to abide by Limited Duty.
If not OWCP, then your on your own & should apply for FMLA to cover any absence resulting from the issue.Mgmt does not have to abide by your restrictions & could have you sitting at home until cleared for full duty. There are some exceptions for ADA or over the age of 55 years.

I STRONGLY recommend FMLA....it protects you from any discipline (if approved) for absences relating to your thumb. You have 480 hours with frequency determined by your doctor and approved by the postal service.
