Dismount & Distance Question

Part of my route is at an apartment complex. There are many dismounts including to a leasing office. Due to security/theft issues, the management at the office wants me to deliver all customers parcels (that can’t fit in the cluster boxes) to the office. Besides the mail the office gets, it typically takes me 4-6 trips to walk all the parcels into the office. Do I get the additional distance for the multiple trips I take into the office? If so, where can I find this as proof to present to management if questioned about it?

These dismounts should already be built in now. Built-in dismounts get as many trips as it takes to deliver/pickup mail. If mgmt won't give you multiple trips then invest in a hand truck/dolly. We don't get measured trips for parcels at CBU stops nor when delivering "to the door". BUT we do get multiple trips for school deliveries and "built-in" pickup locations. There are arguments for both sides. I would ask this in your precount conference for clarification.
