I am retired, so the new system will not impact me.

However, I am uncomfortable with the idea of the Postal Service moving to a new computerized system. I do not have trouble with processing our retirement through computers. I don't like that moving to computers seems to mean less documentation for the employees. One advantage of computers is that each step may be tracked. I believe we also should have this privilege also.

Our union allowed this important point to slide in tracking our delivery, and you paid for it. Don't allow your self to be kept in a weak position again.

At least have the guts to show me wrong. I am not your servant to be snapped at if you don't like what I write. Put thoughts on the line.
 
NRLCA contacts are between the NRLCA and the USPS, not between the NRLCA and the OPM.

USPS retirements are contractually bound to 5 USC §83.1. This is legislation passed at the congressional level, and does not involve the NRLCA at any level.
 
Since I can't do a minor back edit;

Functionally, this means that in the entirety of our contractual literature, retirement language boils down to, "Refer to US law and regulations governing federal employee retirement."

Aren’t you referring to the non transparency of RRECS that the union has failed on and not the change to a computerized retirement method maybe I’m off track.
