Mgmt would have to allow a choice of Friday as a Relief Day. Then given that choice, the Carrier can choose the Rotation. Friday/Saturday rotation counts as a Friday in the Formula Calculation.Trying to change Saturday K day to Friday/Saturday rotation and management said they have never heard of it and would not be able to put it the system. Any help would be great.
Do you have to be a formula office for this to happen or can you do it as a normal relief day change?Mgmt would have to allow a choice of Friday as a Relief Day. Then given that choice, the Carrier can choose the Rotation. Friday/Saturday rotation counts as a Friday in the Formula Calculation.
No. BUT... Changing a Relief Day from Saturday MUST be mutually agreeable between mgmt & the Carrier when not in a Formula Office. Since the office is not Formula & this is considered a “Friday Relief Day”, it would be up to mgmt if a Carrier wants this change.Do you have to be a formula office for this to happen or can you do it as a normal relief day change?
Ok thanks now I asked the supervisor he said he had never heard of doing that and would have no idea how to put in in the payroll system. Any ideasNo. BUT... Timekeeping has changed a WHOLE lot since back then. Everything is in the computer & pre-set. We can’t even get mgmt to find out how to print out the 4240s WITH 2080 accumulation but we are expected to know that we may go over by. Mid-October?This was over 18 years ago, but if my memory serves me, my regular said that the PM had to indicate that their was "no sub" available on week 1, but was available Friday of the next week and then she took her regular Saturday. This was a long time ago and I know timekeeping has changed alot.
