Green Card and Sunday’s

My PM claims that when we work Sunday, she can’t add the hours in on an actual Sunday that she has to break up the hours worked throughout the other days of the week. For real?

Can anyone tell me how to understand the pay stub? I know I am shorted substantially and the PM will not take a minute to help. And our Union Stewart is always too busy.
How do I reconcile something I don’t understand? HELP

Your pm is wrong. Sunday work is green card time on Sunday, not any other day. If it is true you could request all Sunday hours to be placed on your longest day of the week and seemingly work over 12 hours getting overtime. Remind your pm that managers get fired for changing time cards around .

WOW... I even asked our Union Stewart and she said it was ok the way PM was doing it. I am so frustrated. Union Stewart is besties with PM and Supervisor so it makes it super hard to talk to her about anything. When you talk to US, she repeats what you said to PM/Supervisor. UGH

As I understand, Sunday is Amazon delivery only...unless you are delivering time-sensitive Express mail. Sunday is a green card day as Rt2mailman has said. Now if you were doing Christmas parcel runs during the Christmas OT season, they dive your time up by routes you did on your run....also if you provided any other help to regular routes, like putting up papers and box-holders and such, that times is also divided by routes. Best thing to do, take pictures with your cell phone of your green cards and keep track of your time in a small notebook. It helps to have documentation when refuting pay.

When there are problems with local stewards, refer problems to your assistant/area or District rep, that's why they are there .

Your PM is not only LYING, they are FALSIFYING TACS, (time cards). Politely advise your PM that you are going to report the falsifying of daily time cards, to make these bogus adjustments. Also advise that you are not signing timesheets as accurate, and will notate the changes mgt made that are false. If you let the PM know that you have advised the inspection service of these adjustments, and are waiting for their direction, you can be guaranteed that it will never happen again. A crooked supervisor will continue to do this stuff untill they are called out on the carpet. Just saying you are reporting them to the POOM, or the district won’t help, because they are all crooked as hell. Stand up for yourself or continue to get steamrolled.
