I cut it down to 10% last week, it worked well, then today it starts beeping loud, checked the volume it was still 10% but the load and end of shift beeping is set to beep at full volume. They are trying hard to show their lack of understanding. Instead of using their time to override the carrier’s volume setting, they should maybe program the scanner to recognize when a sub is logged onto the route and interrupt the clockout entry with the query “entries usually entered aren’t entered, do you want to have the averages applied for the missing entries?”Cut it down to 10%, turn upside down in bottom of tub with some U-lines & other UBBM to muffle sound.

That word on the street does have legitimacy to it. And pretty much like everything else, management tries to "cross crafts" with standards and procedures. The shoe box size for parcels and the 5 minutes afternoon time are a couple that come to mind with which most are familiar. This thread won't allow me to do an attachment so I'll PM you the info.
