Mandatory Stand-Up Talk June 12, 2026 Rural Carriers – (MDDI Audible Reminders for Rural Route Evaluated Compensation System CRRECS) Loading and End

Everyone needs to start writing their time down everyday for this new fuction. 10seconds, 30 seconds 1 minutes, 2 minutes etc. That makes the manager's have to enter it everyday for x amount of carriers, it's that fun now for all? If your not paid fill out the 8191, more fun for all. This is their nonsense so let them have to deal with it too.

although it is a good idea to write the amounts down, we are doing this function during load and EOS times...it's already added in.

win for us.

Are we grieving this as harassment? If the manager was asking us if we were done our work yet would that constitute harassment? Hostile work environment?

When I was an RCA during a count, the postmaster told me I was loading to slow and he stopped the stopwatch… now the stopwatch is in our hands, but we are the ones cheating in their eyes.

Too slow???? I mean have they seen some of the city carriers walking???? I mean I have seen quite a few taking steps like penguins all day long.

Well darn that's right! Lmbo I can't tell I get actual anything is why I forgot that, ok so we grow another hand carry it everywhere and just deal with more craziness. Problem solved. Ty

Cut it down to 10%, turn upside down in bottom of tub with some U-lines & other UBBM to muffle sound. 🤣
I cut it down to 10% last week, it worked well, then today it starts beeping loud, checked the volume it was still 10% but the load and end of shift beeping is set to beep at full volume. They are trying hard to show their lack of understanding. Instead of using their time to override the carrier’s volume setting, they should maybe program the scanner to recognize when a sub is logged onto the route and interrupt the clockout entry with the query “entries usually entered aren’t entered, do you want to have the averages applied for the missing entries?”

Or better yet.

If you don't clock out after you hit return2du once you dock your scanner when you are done it automatically clocks out.

Holy :poop: :poop:💩:poop:💩:poop: I am a genius.

That and it makes the route look better for them.

Oh look Jimmy got his 46K done in 5 hours, we can probably say he is getting less mail and drop his volume.

I agree that some carriers are probably doing that and that's where my issue with the whole thing is. You have it for 2 of 3 things but not the other. WHY???? I am still behind my 100% theory it is benchmarking...

Word on the streets is that 22 minutes is the unofficial benchmark for load time!

That word on the street does have legitimacy to it. And pretty much like everything else, management tries to "cross crafts" with standards and procedures. The shoe box size for parcels and the 5 minutes afternoon time are a couple that come to mind with which most are familiar. This thread won't allow me to do an attachment so I'll PM you the info. But when you look at the loading time , you'll see that number is......................................................that's right @nlsal209 , 22 minutes. DING, DING, DING, DING, DING. Bob, show @nlsal209 what he/she has won !!!! From the Berkshire Collection..............................PATIO FURNITURE .
