"MY" Aux route

Faceindawind et al -- "But how is it possible for an AUX to take leave in 1 hr increments? Wouldn't they then have to take a minimum of 2 hrs?"

-- ELM - Section 512.5 - Leave Charge Information.

-- ELM - Section 512.511 -- Minimum Unit Charge Table:

Employee Category: RCAs when in a leave-earning status and serving auxiliary routes.

Minimum Unit Charge: 1 hour

P-S-E-N -- "Choosing 6/0 I am only to do the aux route those 6 days and ONLY help on other routes when I am done with the aux? I've heard conflicting answers on this with the 90 days. PM says she can use me anywhere within the 90 days and someone else told me only after the 90 days can they use me to run other routes."

-- Article 30.2.5 of the contract:

AFTER completion of the assigned AUXILIARY route or the primary route assignment, a leave replacement assigned to serve the auxiliary route MAY be utilized on any other auxiliary route, or serve as a leave replacement or provide auxiliary assistance on any regular route. ( no mention of 90 days )

-- If you have completed your AUX route, then you can be utilized just about anywhere manglement needs you.

-- Politely ask "someone else" for the reference regarding "90 days".

Yes, you must complete your aux route first. And no one in or outside your office can carry that route on 6-0 unless you are on leave.

I've seen aux carriers from other offices borrow in so the in house aux can do a k route. I've seen carriers borrowed in to do k routes, when the aux carrier would've wanted the extra work by means of splitting. As a 6-0 llv aux, you can demand to use the llv on any splitting.
