NRLCA UPDATE: House Passes Reconciliation Bill, 215-214

Didn't figure your claim was sincere. Not the first "I know the real truth" claim I've heard followed by crickets when a warrant is sought. 🤷‍♂️

Is 'appeals' no longer a paid committee acting in agency for the association? 🤔

So you can label these entities "good" and "honest" but I can't have my own viewpoint? Nice! 👍

When injustice is at hand, I'm not looking to be a people pleaser to authors of defamation. Maybe that's just a me thing though. 🤷‍♂️
Dude get over yourself. Everything that happened was because you filed like over 100 appeals for basically NOTHING. You are the one that wouldn't respond to the committees and wouldn't answer your phone so there that's all I have to say. I'm not interested in getting in a back and forth with a keyboard warrior, the report that the committee put out speaks for itself. And I will leave it at that!

What a tantrum you've got there. :ROFLMAO:

You argue "basically nothing" yet can't give a single warrant to your claims. You lay out a claim, and reject consideration of counter-arguments, then pat yourself on the back for "a job well done". Typical NRLCA rationale.👍

I responded to every piece of required correspondence. Can you explain why the appeals related committees fear being recorded to the point that they don't want any evidence of the actual conversation? 🤔 That part must of got left out of their report, huh?:ROFLMAO:

Cute ad hominem, friend. A longstanding NRLCA staple when they're out of answers.:ROFLMAO:

Oh yeah... It most definitely speaks for itself. Incompetence, malice, and defamation. 🤣

Wow, I heard they're proposing jacking FERS contributions to near 10% of salary... that'll be a bit of a haircut for some folks paychecks... 🤷‍♂️👉

Under the proposal, new federal employees would face a choice: give up key job protections or contribute 9.4% of their salary to the Federal Employees Retirement System (FERS). Currently, employees contribute between 0.8% and 4.4%, depending on when they were hired. The troubling part is that even with this higher contribution, you wouldn’t receive higher retirement benefits in return. You’d simply be paying more for the same pension.

What I want to know is this... all of the peeps who cried about old timers only paying 0.8% in to FERS.... the ones currently paying 4.4%.... will they now demand that their withholdings be jacked up to 9.4% to ensure fairness across the board???? I mean come on man, fair is fair.. that's another 5% pay cut... wth... just be glad you can help out... 🤷‍♂️👉:ROFLMAO:

Wth... things just keep getting worse... glad I got the hail out of this clown show... 🤷‍♂️👉🤡(n)

If you choose not to make the higher contribution, you'd be classified as an “at-will” employee, meaning you could be fired or disciplined without the protections most federal employees currently enjoy. Additionally, the bill proposes charging a fee if you want to appeal decisions to the Merit Systems Protection Board, which currently hears cases of discrimination or workplace abuse at no cost.

I remember some of these everybody-got-a-trophy generation screaming that everybody should be paying the 4.4% FERS contributions, and old timers shouldn't be allowed to pay the lower 0.8% rate... so now those same peeps should be screaming to raise their rates from 4.4% to 9.4% to be fair to all the peeps that are following them, right??? I mean they can't have it both ways, can they... oh yeah, I forgot, that's how they were raised with all their trophies... js... it's all about ME... 🤷‍♂️👉:ROFLMAO:

Yep, making or missing the boat is part of life. I missed .08% contribution by 2 years...whose fault? Is it even a fault?

I recall @DohnJalton and a few others were somewhat sympathetic toward the BOOMER generation, so they'll probably be fine with paying the increased FERS withholding rates... I mean, everybody needs to pitch in just a bit... 5% or so I think is the plan... I'm an advocate for some bump up in SS withholding as well... wth... that's got to be extended out a few more years... 🤷‍♂️👉(y)🤩
