On this day in 1971, the NRLCA and other postal unions entered into our first-ever contract with the US Postal Service, just days after the USPS formed as a result of the Postal Reorganization Act of 1970. Too bad all of the NRLC magazine issues aren't available online. There are many historical gems in those texts. Scanning and uploading those wouldn't be that difficult, especially in this day and age. I wonder why the union hasn't done it yet.

Maybe a binding resolution could make it happen.
